Customizable editing modes, free trials, Hygraph integration, and more
Hygraph (GraphCMS) integration
We are excited to launch our integration and partnership with Hygraph (formerly GraphCMS)!
With Plasmic’s new built-in integration, you can now drag and drop collections of Hygraph content and media into your pages, designing with dynamic Hygraph data using arbitrary layout and styling. Simply go to the component store, select Hygraph, setup the integration, and insert Hygraph content!
Then hit Publish to deploy optimized, statically or server-rendered pages to your stack. As with all component store components, these are just normal Plasmic code components. They are fully open-source for you to fork and customize to your needs and your schema.
Livestream tomorrow on the Learn With Jason Show
Join us tomorrow at 9:30am Pacific on the LWJShow! Netlify’s VP of Developer Experience Jason Lengstorff will be taking the driver’s seat and diving into Plasmic. We’ll see how Plasmic helps allow anyone to visually build pages and even applications, deeply integrated with any codebase or tech stack.
Free trials of Growth plans
You can now enroll any team you’ve created in a trial of a Growth tier plan. Some highlights of the Growth plan include:
Content creator mode
Supports more team collaborators and higher website traffic volumes
Optimization features such as A/B testing, custom targeting, and scheduling
Localization and localization framework integration
More team roles
And more to come
To get started, log into Plasmic and press the Upgrade button in the top right corner to choose which team you’d like to start a trial for.
Customizable content editing modes
We are rolling out the ability to customize what kind of editing experience collaborators in your team are able to have when they edit Plasmic projects.
We previously announced the release of content creator mode, available on Growth plans. This gives your editors a streamlined and simplified editing experience that hides most free-form styling and layout controls, and allows only insertion of the existing components from your Plasmic project.
Now, this will be customizable, so that you can decide team-wide what controls are available. This is available as an enterprise plan add-on. If you are interested in access, please get in touch with our team.
More starters and templates
We have added a few new starter projects, including a collection of commerce design sections , dark and light landing pages, and more.
And more
Plus many more bug fixes and improvements—some highlights include:
Reordered controls place the most commonly used items toward the top.
Revamped the organization of our developer docs.
Experimental fast publishing—enroll in early access here.
That’s all for this episode. Go play with the latest changes!
